Selected Portfolio of Web design and development work |
| For over 20 years, I have been a passionate advocate for shaping communication to the needs and qualities of targeted audiences. I have worked with clients to find and develop the appropriate media for their particular message. I've been a pioneer of software interface design, interactive TV design, website design, and digital video. My work as an actor, director, and on-camera personality brings a keen sense of audience expectations and response to my work in both new and old media. My combination of technological know-how and empathy for the humanity of the audience has been a consistently distinguishing quality of my work. |

www.molbio.princeton.edu
Princeton University Department of Molecular Biology
I was the design lead of this website redesign and infrastructure overhaul. I led the team to identify objectives and target audience, then built prototypes in a collaborative, iterative design process exploring information design, navigation design, and visual design. I delivered a working prototype which served as the template for implememting the site using the Joomla CMS. Close cooperation with the CMS team led to very high fidelity between the prototype and the final design.
Features: Prior to the redesign, the site could not be found in search engines, now it is the sixth result in a Google search on the general term "molecular biology". |
